Drink the Pounds Away!



Have you ever focused so much on food calories that you forgot liquid calories count too?? Well, here are some tips and tricks to make healthier drink options, and ultimately drink the pounds away! 


Tip 1: Eliminate Soda and Iced Tea: Soda and sweetened tea can add to the majority of your daily calories! Go for diet soda and unsweetened beverages.

Tips 2: Water, Water, Water!: Dehydration can have you feeling tired or hungry. Make sure your drinking at least 8 cups of water each day. Doing this will also raise your concentration and energy level. 

Tip 3: Smoothie Anyone?: Drink yogurt-based fruit smoothies to get great nutrition and feel fuller longer!

Tip 4: Say No to Juice Drinks: A lot of juice drinks contain added sugar and corn syrup. According to Women's Health Magazine, you could lose 19 pounds in one year by cutting out juice drinks!

Tip 5: Be Cautious with Coffee: Choosing blended specialty coffee drinks can add over 200 calories to your day as opposed to the 60 calories from regular brewed coffee or tea.
