            Sleep verses Body fat in Children

     Children ages 3-6 should be getting at least 10 hours of sleep a day. Reviews have shown a reduction in body fat composition with each hour of sleep regardless of genetic or lifestyle factors. Good sleep habits demotes childhood obesity and promotes the transition to adulthood.
