Accidents can happen. The following are important nutrients and their sources that aid in the healing process:
Vitamin C
Helps your body to form collagen, a protein needed for strength and flexibility
Sources of Vitamin C:
Baked potatoes, Bell peppers, Broccoli, Cantaloupe, Oranges, Strawberries, Tomatoes,
Vitamin A
Aids in cell growth and development, bone development, and functioning of the immune system
Sources of Vitamin A:
Carrots, Apricots, Spinach, Red Bell Peppers, Sweet potato
Zinc
Involved in wound healing
Sources of Zinc:
Almonds, Meat, Seafood, Oysters, Pumpkin, Sesame & Sunflower seeds, Wheat germ
